Lovely and spacious place! Both kids and adults enjoyed the atmosphere.
Small but informative museum with nice video installations.
Nice souvenir shop where we got hand-made wooden viking swords with engravings. Boys were happy ?
Very friendly personnel.

Small museum, expected more information. The staff is polite and the park outside is very beautiful. When we visited the houses outside were locked. I managed to peek inside the small one but i would love to learn more about how the Vikings lived and how their houses were.

Hade velat stanna där lite längre i fint väder o ev när de har aktivitet.
Men helt klart värt ett besök.
För mig var det magiskt.
Rekommenderar att kolla på deras utställning och ta er tid att läsa infon. Gå in vid långhuset.
Satt en kvinna o berättade om Thor o Loke. Väldigt gripande!
Blir återbesök utan rastlös tonåring.
Väldigt trevlig personal.

Beautifully restored wood wall of the viking village/castle (Trelle borg, hence the name from this city). Impressive how the original construction was found after a dig and partially reconstructed. The wood castle itself can be visited at all times and is free of charge. The museum has specific opening times (off season opening at noon on work days). The exhibition is quite small but the entry is not that much, 40 crowns per adult. Kids are free. Besides this, it's a really nice little park to just walk a bit.

I highly recommend this museum. The exhibition was about Norse mythology and the Viking era. It was pretty didactic and well organised. The price was good too and there is a small cafeteria.

Nice for wasting some time with kids waiting for the fairy. But the museum was closed and all buildings are locked. What is to see? Old build up (no original) wooden buildings, wooden fence and a new garden.

Interesting site in the centre of Trelleborg. The reconstructed ramparts are impressive. And the Viking longhouse is particularly interesting. The visitor centre is new with a small selection of artefacts to look at. Our English speaking guide was very friendly and knowledgeable.
