Santa Claus City Office - Rovaniemi

I arrived at Santa Claus city office with great excitement, eager to share how I’ve been receiving gifts over the years. Unfortunately, I was completely ignored. The whole experience was nothing more than a rushed photo session with no interaction at all.

What made it even more disappointing was that while I was selecting my photos, another family entered Santa’s office. Santa was warm and engaging with the children, even checking their names and having a conversation with them. In contrast, I was barely acknowledged—just a quick photo, no chat, no festive spirit.

After flying 14 hours to be here, I can’t help but feel it was not worth the journey. If you’re expecting a meaningful and magical interaction rather than just a paid photo, this might not be the experience for you.

By far the BEST OFFICIAL SANTA in the whole Rovaniemi !!!! The MOST GENUINE & FRIENDLY!

Met this Santa along with my kids at his new and only Official Office in the City Center of Rovaniemi, Lordi Square . The meeting was not rushed at all . We had a really good talk with Santa . He seems so interested on us esp. to the kids . He even shared a tip to where is the best place to see the northern lights . During the picture taking , Santa knows a lot of poses and we truly enjoyed it! Lot’s of good laughs! The photos are really Nice and the most cheapest among the other Official offices. We purchased Many printed photos and got big discount on it along with the Official visit certificate. ( before the Christmas weeks two or more photos in the City center cost €20/photo only then during the busiest weeks €25/photo. One photo costs €35 -normal price ) In the village , price starts €50 then higher which was too expensive for us & the waiting was too long -more than an hour to get to see Santa & the picture . We ended up not buying.. We were also disappointed as we felt the experience was So hurried in the village .

Meeting Santa in the City center is free and you only pay for the photos only if you need it.
Since we bought the printed photos, we get to see him twice . The second meeting was when he signs the pictures - Yes! This is the only place where you can get Santa’s autograph - we were also allowed to use our own Camera to TaKe a video while he is signing for proof. Also , Santa said hello to all of our friends and family around the world on the video which was so brilliant! We quickly asked him for a quick selfie with him before we exited. Santa also gave a big hug to my kids. We all loved him!

The Following day ( our last day) we came back to thank and say goodbye to Santa . We were So lucky to see him outside . Santa popped out for a quick breath of fresh air. He waved on us and still remembered us . My kids were absolutely thrilled. They were convinced it was a Real Santa! Of course me too ! 🙂

Later on , we came back again to buy some souviners at his Office shop. There was a long qeue But not as long as in the other places so the waiting can be shorter only which is best esp. When u have kids.

We bought some of Santa’s Original Design items which are only available at his City Office . We learned that we can ask him to put his signature on the items but unfortunately we were in a hurry . Still very happy though to get on hold of his masterpieces as a souviner .

I highly recommend Santa Claus City Office for a real magical experience !

The best experience i could have wanted for the kids, just amazing.

Santa was incredibly engaging not just with the kids but all of us, we went late in the evening, so i was nice and quiet, there was no paying on the way in or anything you just pay for the photos you choose.

What i found so good was it did not feel commercialised, it literally felt like you had just walked into Santa's office and he was there to greet you as visitors. It was not rushed, he took his time with us all, even allowed a selfie and video, this was after we bought a photo, but still, he suggested it and we didn't have to pay extra.

A wonderful experience that i highly recommend to anyone visiting Rovaniemi.

這個不是傳統的聖誕公園的聖誕老人，而是位於市區的中心。相對的人比較少，聖誕老人也能有比較多時間交談。而且買完照片後，還能用自己的相機拍，覺得還不錯。

Hier kann man ziemlich unkompliziert und ohne Anstehen auch den Weihnachtsmann besuchen (es gibt also mindestens 2 davon) und gegen Geld Fotos machen. Der Vorteil ist, dass es nicht so voll ist wie im Weihnachtsmanndorf. Und weil "unser" Weihnachtsmann sehr lustig war, einen tollen Job gemacht hat und gute Fotos raus gekommen sind gibt es fünf Sterne.
Der Typ versteht wirklich seinen Job!
