Expensive but worth every cent. The igloos are super warm and insulated, clean and well decorated. The shower is hot and I liked that it didn’t operate on a timer like some of the other igloo hotels. Breakfast was simple but yummy, dinner was more elevated and quite enjoyable too (we had low expectations after reading some of the reviews, but food and service were good!). Loved the private sauna, but would have preferred if it came with a cold plunge pool.

I would have enjoyed my time here even if we didn’t see the aurora, but we did, and that made our time here unforgettable.

We stayed at Levin Iglut Glass Igloos in Finland for Christmas, and it was honestly the best stay of my life. Spending a night under the northern lights in a warm, luxurious glass igloo while it was -20°C outside was unreal — the sky lit up with crazy, dancing green lights that made the whole experience feel magical and surreal.

The igloo itself was pure luxury — fully loaded with everything we needed for a cozy stay, from a heated bed to all the modern comforts, all while giving us a 360° view of the Arctic sky right from bed.

We went there for our honeymoon, and they made it extra special by surprising us with congratulatory chocolates and a small gift — such a thoughtful touch.

We also visited a reindeer farm and had a fairytale ride through the snow — it felt straight out of a storybook. The resort’s heated outdoor jacuzzi under the polar night sky was pure magic, with the northern lights dancing above us.

The food was delicious, with stunning views from the restaurant to top it all off.

Overall, it was a private, luxurious, and truly magical experience — one I’ll remember forever.

These igloos are incredible! They are thoroughly insulated. The stars and northern lights were clear too see right through them. They are incredibly romantic. The staff left 2 small bottles of bubbly. The private sauna is bookable, we used it twice in two days. It was thoughtfully designed and built. It was a Beautiful experience.

My stay at Levin Iglut glass igloos was pure magic! This family-run gem easily stands out as the best hotel in Levi. The service was amazing—warm, personal, and attentive. Sleeping in the glass igloo under the stars and Northern Lights felt like a dream, and catching the aurora from both the igloo and dinner spot was unforgettable. The cherry on top? The home-cooked breakfast—every item has a story, from organic farm-fresh eggs to superfoods and berries, all bursting with freshness and flavor. Yes, the price is on the higher side, but for this level of quality and the once-in-a-lifetime experience, it’s absolutely worth it.

Staff is great and kind. They took luggage to the room in a handcart. Heated floor and great view! Sadly, the dinner experience does need some work. Took too long for each plate, and the food was average for the wait. Improve the kitchen and it's 5star

One of the most incredible nights of my life. The reception staff was nice and friendly, and the room was a decent size. There aren't lots of options in the restaurant but that was not a problem for us, we just drove to Levi center and had dinner there instead. I turned on the aurora alerts and we were blessed with a wonderful night. Clear skies and nonstop auroras. My biggest complaint (but wasn't really enough to rip off my experience) is that other hotel guests can just leave their lights on even though they are out on a tour or something. The hotel said they couldn't do anything about it, which I understand but kind of sucked as their kitchen light was directed straight at us. Anyway, as you can see from our pictures it was all still beautiful and amazing. Also lovely to see the lights from the inside, nice and warm, and not outside freezing chasing auroras!

Seit 2022 haben wir Levin Iglut jährlich -teils öfters pro Jahr- besucht und nun schreibe ich endlich eine Bewertung.
Die Lage und der Ausblick der Iglus ist fantastisch. Wer das Glück hat eine Nacht voller Polarlichter zu haben, kann hier gemütlich aus seinem warmen Zimmer und dem bequemen Bett das Spektakel verfolgen. Es gibt wenig Lichtverschmutzung, was diesen Standort fast einzigartig in Levi macht. Die Iglus faszinieren durch ihr Glasdach und man hat alles zur Verfügung was man braucht. (Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank, Tee, Kaffee etc.).
Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Service und die Gastfreundlichkeit der Mitarbeitenden, welche einem den Aufenthalt wirklich besonders machen.
Die neu errichtete Sauna und der Whirlpool (Besuch gegen Aufpreis, aber absolut fairer Preis) sind ebenfalls einen Besuch wert. Ebenso das Restaurant Utsu, sowohl Abends als auch beim Frühstück ein wahrer Genuss mit lokalen Spezialitäten.
Mit Sicherheit nicht das günstigste Hotel in der Region, aber absolut eine Reise wert.
