Täyden kympin kokemus, siisti ja remontoitu huone, rento ja ystävällinen henkilökunta ja ketjuhotelleja paljon parempi aamiainen. Lounas täällä viimeisen päälle maukas, makua ja valikoimaa löytyy . Voi hyvää päivää mikä kontrasti verrattuna vaikkapa Rovaniemen " ota tai jätä" hotelleihin, täällä yöpyy todella laadukkaasti pikkurahalla. Jatkakaa samalla linjalla!

Great hotel for summer visit up north. Glassed in balcony lets the air in and I imagine in winter allows for great northern lights viewing while providing some protection from the elements. Many rooms have view of the Ivalo River. Swimming dock on river in summer. Breakfast was good. Did not try the restaurant

Parin yön visiitillä Ivalossa elokuussa.
Viihtyisä perhehuone jossa kaikki tarvittava + bonuksena oma sauna.
Aamiaisella oli ruuhkaa ja pöytäpaikat vähissä, mutta hyvin saatiin syötyä ja kahvit juotua.
Sijainti Ivalon keskustassa sopi meille erinomaisesti. Tarvittavat kohteet kävelymatkan päässä ja ruokakauppakin vastapäätä.

We had a wonderful stay at Kultahippu around Midsummer. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They kindly booked a taxi for us to get to the airport the next day. The room was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the sauna and breakfast at the hotel with a good choice for all tastes (like muesli and yoghurt, hot breakfast, sweet rolls and fruit).
We also dined in the restaurant and appreciated the creativity in serving Finnish cuisine.
There are several trails near the hotel for those interested in exploring nature. We saw reindeer and found some lingonberries from the last season.
We will definitely be back.

Ruokailimme vain täällä, ruoka maittavaa ja annoskoko hyvä. Palvelu ystävällistä, käynti hetkellä vain muutama asiakas joten rauhallinen tunnelma. Paikka sijaitsee keskustassa joen varrella. Hotellin uudempiosa aivan joen vieressä. Alue näytti hyvin siistiltä ja viihtyisältä.
