Absolutely loved our stay here. We stayed for 2 nights and joined the 4 hour husky safari - only wish we picked a longer one! Living on the farm means you can see and pet the dogs any time you want (there are hundreds of them), a paradise for dog lovers.

We also got to see the northern lights one night and because of its remote location, it was insanely clear!

All staff members were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Special thanks to Outi and Noemi for coordinating our husky safari and teaching us everything about these lovely dogs. The homemade meals were also delicious and heartwarming.

Can’t wait to return again.

We had an amazing time at GuestHouse Husky. My friend and I chose the overnight Husky trip, which was very fun. We were a little nervous the night before, but driving the sledge was not difficult. As another reviewer noted, the huskies have one speed, and that is fast! Shoutout to our guides Konsta and Lewis, who made the five -hour journey to the cabin go very smoothly.||Upon arrival at the cabin, we helped un-harness the dogs and make the dog food. Konsta then made us a very nice dinner. The fire in the stove upstairs kept us warm while we slept.||The GuestHouse back in Ivalo is very clean and comfortable. We liked the home-cooked meals very much.

This is one of the best places to get the real experience rather than paying an external tour guide.

I stumbled across this hotel by google. This family run hotel, have a farm of huskies.

It really does feel like you are staying at someone’s home. The food is limited on vegetarian choice so I would recommend you give them a heads up.

Parking no issue.

I would recommend staying here 1-2 nights.

It is in a secluded area so you are very likely to see the lights. You can go on a husky safari tour on a frozen river which was a thrilling experience. You can also play with the huskies and the puppies. So much fun!

Would highly highly recommend staying here!

The rooms could be updated but not a biggy as you’re only there to sleep!

We had a wonderful stay at Guesthouse Husky! The lodging was very comfortable (we stayed in the family room). The rooms were clean, warm, and peaceful! Also, the dinners should not be missed. We had both Minna and Outi’s cooking and they are excellent chefs! Minna also makes delicious breads and pastries for breakfast! We went on a Husky tour, which was a highlight of the trip! The dogs are adorable and seem very happy and well cared for! We enjoyed spending time with the dogs before and after the safari. Guesthouse Husky is also conveniently located close to Ivalo, while feeling very private and peaceful! We highly recommend staying here on your Lapland trip with enough time to enjoy Husky safaris and delicious cooking!

Je suis venu la première fois il y’a trois ans en famille: c’était génial . Nous y somme retourné encore une semaine ( deux adultes et deux enfants) et tout reste parfait! Avant tout le calme, l’emplacement au milieu de nulle part ! Les chambres sont confortables pour 4 p et personnes. Il y’a un coin cuisine à l’étage intermédiaire qui est commun. Le plus bien sur , ce sont les chiens , et les excursions de quelques heures à quelques jours en chien de traîneau ( pas besoin d’avoir un super niveau ) dépaysement garanti , et non stress

Such a lovely guesthouse, room is spacious, clean and beautiful. Husky farm right on premise but not noisy at all. You can go meet/pet the huskies and puppies anytime! The hosts are also friendly and helpful. Home made dinner can be ordered and you can just relax and go on the safaris which can be arranged by the guesthouse directly like husky, Northern light etc

Wir haben eine 2,5 h Husky Tour gebucht und es war atemberaubend schön!
Die Hunde sind wirklich super freundlich und aufgeweckt und genießen das Rennen richtig.
Die Kleidung hält warm und die Familie des Guesthouse ist super freundlich und hat uns schön durch die Tour geführt.
Ein kleines Highlight war ein Welpen-Gehege, in das wir am Ende sogar noch herein durften.
Rundum gelungen und jeden Cent wert!

We really enjoyed the authentic, finnish guesthouse and our hosts were super friendly, kind and lovely to chat with. Minna's homemade 3 course dinners were so delicious and the atmosphere in general very warm and friendly. We loved cuddling all the cute huskies and could access the beautiful nature right from our doorstep by foot and dog sledge.
We did the 4 hour husky tour incl. lunch with Lewis and it was such an amazing experience!
Also the hosts happily help you arranging other activities in the area. We got a great recommendation for snowmobiling with Luonto Loma in Saariselkä.
If you're looking for a cosy place with lovely people in Ivalo, do stay at Guesthouse Husky!
Due to the idyllic but distant location you depend on a taxi or your rental car if you plan on going to the centre of Ivalo or attend activities elsewhere in the area.
