The new courthouse at Tingsvägen 11, Sollentuna was built at the same time as the detention building and was put into use for the Attunda district court on May 21, 2010. It was designed by Svante Forsström Arkitekter AB and built by Skanska. In 2015, plans were announced for an expansion of the courthouse. A fourteen-story high-rise will be built on a parking lot adjacent to the current building. It will contain twelve new negotiation rooms. The work is expected to continue during the years 2018-2020. The building, which is called Färgskrapan, will also contain offices in addition to courtrooms.
